Bart Graft - For the Record...

New cassette release from @bartgraft and @bizcasualbiz, and my first exposure to Graft’s music. This album is fantastic and made me want a bigger, shinier stereo to blast this tape through. There’s a precision to the arrangement and production of this collection that perfectly captures the feel of 80s film scores, while remaining completely listenable to any music lover not wearing anything rose-tinted. The release is packaged in this grainy surrealist suburban landscape; an alternate reality similar to our own, but somehow more crisp and clean. Graft has built a cinematic and sonic universe that I don’t yet want to leave.
